"Monogram A” - Original, Framed

24k gold leaf on gilding gesso, 24k hand-ground gold, azurite, malachite and magnetite stones from locally owned, Gem State Crystals, hand-crushed into pigments and made into watercolors, paper dyed with garden onion skins, compass and straightedge construction. Though labor intensive can describe most of my work, this one holds a special place in my memory that says the result was amazing but I may never try to make another one again or if I do, likely for a different price. I've made two. One is in a private collection in India and this is the other.  ~5.5"x5.5" in and 9"x9" frame.
