"FH” - Original, Framed SOLD

Heavily gilded in 24k gold leaf Turkish and Egyptian styled watercolor illumination. The tile that is is based on resides in the Leighton House Museum in London and was presented as inspiration in a class with Ayesha Gamiet. The origional tile had a different bird eating a snake. This is a fictional bird with a ribbon instead.  2.5"x3.5" and Iit when I had Covid-19. I was very dizzy at the time so was content to work very detailed in a small space. The name inspiration is from the Falcon Heavy rocket. 

Although the origional is no longer available, there are gilded limited edition giclées available in the "Prints" section.
