Please contact for availability. This work is now at the Museum of the Gilding Arts in Pontiac Illinois in their gift shop. Forest river bed inspired watercolor using purchased paints that contain some portion of natural stone pigments. The glint of the sun on freshwater fish is represented in the hand gilt diamonds made of both flat and hand crushed 24k gold and palladium leaf made in the US. Drawn with ruler and compass, this is the underlying grid used to draw a jaali screen from Humayun's Tomb in India based on the method taught by Richard Henry in the UK. Set in either a 5x7” or a 8"x10" frame.
