"Star Party - Macaron” - Original Matted

Painted with acrylic on black 4"x6" card in 8"x10" matting. It is remarkable how small the circles a good quality vintage steel pen compass can make! About three different sizes of compasses were used and the feeling I had when making it was that of celestial orbits and sweets. The matting that the art is taped to is slightly bent in one corner. It shouldn’t be visible once framed but rather than replace it and be wasteful, I’d rather just keep it as is and point it out.
