24k hand-ground shell gold, hand made watercolors from hand crushed pigments using stones purchased locally at Gem State Crystals. The black pattern itself is a traditional Turkish pattern from a design book and was the assignment in and illumination class through the then Prince's Foundation School of the Traditional Arts by artist Ayesha Gamiet. Later, I went in and colored it with the gemstone watercolors. ~4.5"x9.5" in an 11"x14" frame.
