Kintsugi Wedding Couple

24K gold leaf and contemporary Kintsugi methods. 

First Thoughts: I managed not to break their heads. Yay! But in the end, some pieces were too smashed to reassemble so I put the couple together with what remained and thankfully, for them most was salvageable. They started out with a solid foundation and that probably helped as it does in most relationships. This ornament was made by Lenox and the walls were thick.

Second Thoughts: There are methods in traditional Japanese Kintsugi to fill large holes but they looked happy enough to be back together so let them be.
