“Reconnect” - Original, Framed

Reverse glass gilded with silver leaf and acrylic paint in a 9"x9" frame. Technically, the silver is sealed and it shouldn’t oxidize but one should be open to possible aging just in case. The design is from a pattern that I learned from a learning group called Global Center of Islamic Art. This is a red presentation of the traditional pattern. The drawing in the last slide shows me experimenting with the attributes of the traditional pattern. Drawing not included. The black outline paint I used has a shimmer so it will change its look at the same time that the silver will. The blue colors are not metallic.
