Painted with tinted handmade white watercolor paint and handmade carmine watercolor made from cochineal. Cochineal was also used to hand dye the paper. The pattern was drawn with ruler and compass based off of a window screen at the Ibn Tulun Mosque in Cairo using a method taught by Katya Nosyreva PhD. ~9"x12" and set in a white 11”x14” frame.
