This mural was done for the street level entry of Wayfarer Theaters in Highland Park, Illinois for their grand opening in February 2023. It was painted using an architectural ornament style I learned while living in China. It featured 24k gold embellishments and was modeled after a colored pencil graphic I colored based on a design in an historic ornament book many years prior. The client specified the Bahá'í quotations which were also hand painted.
