The pattern was drawn with ruler and compass based off of a using a method taught by Katya Nosyreva PhD and gleaned from analysis of the anonymous Medieval Persian manuscript titled "On Similar and Complimentary Interlocking Figures. 6"x6" set in a white 10”x10” frame.
