Custom Painting: Mural Wayfarer Theaters, Upper Level 2024

This canvas painting was done for the upper level theater hall at Wayfarer Theaters in Highland Park, Illinois for their grand remodel opening in May 2024. It uses the same design that I painted the year prior only this time I added and entire book of gold, modeled some of the color sections with a sponge and matched the colors to the new greens specified by the interior designer. The client specified the quotation which is attributed to the Bahá'í Faith which were also hand painted. This is the first large canvas painting that I have done. I would like to acknowledge my fellow Society of Gilders artist, Lynne Rutter for her generous sharing of experience on how to go about painting and gilding a large canvas.
